Wastewater Treatment (WWTP) Facility Upgrade Project

WWTP INITIAL STUDY

The City of Shasta Lake (City; Lead Agency) contracted with Analytical Environmental Services Sacramento, CA to prepare this Initial Study (IS) to provide the general public and interested public agencies with information about the potential environmental impacts of its Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Upgrade Project (Proposed Project). The Proposed Project would result in the production of high-quality effluent that can be discharged to Churn Creek year-round in accordance with a direct discharge National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit with no dilution requirements.
