The Emergency Utility Assistance (EUA) Program are grant payment(s) made on behalf of income-eligible household(s) to reduce utility payment delinquency due to the economic downturn during COVID-19. Utility Assistance for providers such as City of Shasta Lake (Electric, Water, Wastewater, and Garbage); PG&E; and/or Internet Bill (Internet only) is available. The City will provide a “2:1” contribution, not to exceed $2,500 to qualifying families impacted by COVID-19 for emergency utility (EUA) subsistence payments (maximum 3 consecutive months of assistance).
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Utility balances are a collectable debt subject to disconnection. We encourage customers who are struggling to make payments to immediately apply.
If you meet all the requirements stated above. Please submit an application and eligible participants will be processed on a first come first serve basis until funding is exhausted.
