Work tasks on this project generally include the replacement of 10 existing wood pole 115 kV H-frame transmission structures with new steel pole 115 kV H-frame transmission structures to increase line reliability. Procurement of all materials, including steel poles, is included in the contractor’s scope. Structure locations are difficult to access due to terrain, so access (whether temporary or permanent) is expected to be a considerable portion of the work. All proposals shall include a detailed breakdown of access costs and assumptions to allow the City of Shasta Lake to more effectively compare bids. All other items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Plans or the Contract Documents shall be procured furnished, fabricated, constructed, or installed. The Engineer’s Estimate for this work is $650,000.00.
