Work on this project generally includes 0.17' deep grinding and HMA patching of areas that will be field marked prior to starting work, installation of 0.085’ thick leveling course on three streets, installation of paving fabric in driving lanes, installation of 0.085’ thick leveling course on three streets, installation of a 0.17' thick HMA overlay, pavement striping and marking placement, and adjustment of traffic boxes and manhole lids to grade. All other items or details not mentioned above that are required by the Plans or the Contract Documents shall be furnished, fabricated, constructed, or installed. The Engineer’s Estimate for this work is $2,800,000.

This project has a goal of 6.8% minority participation and 6.9% female participation for the contractor's aggregate workforce in each trade on all construction work. The bidder shall make a good faith effort to see that Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) are provided opportunities.

A prebid conference is scheduled between staff and interested bidders at the Shasta Lake Community Center, 4499 Main Street, Shasta Lake, on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 9:00 a.m., at which time the project will be reviewed. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend.
